Born and raised in a New Jersey in a public housing complex, I’ve bumped heads with the law countless number of times. I’ve had lawyers, who I thought I could trust, look my mother and me in the eyes and try to push deals down my throat; deals that would’ve stripped years off of my life. However, I stood tall and persevered. In the end, I walked away with nothing more than minor infractions. I didn’t have the guidance I needed back then. Now, I’ve made it my mission to be that guidance and advocate for people who are navigating the criminal justice system on their own, today.

My experience as a public defender, and most recently a felony prosecutor, has allowed me to sharpen my legal skills and have a unique insight into the system. This has allowed me to better gauge the difficulties the State may have proving their case beyond a reasonable doubt, and prepare accordingly.

That said, I learned the criminal justice system from the inside out. I know what my clients are feeling and what concerns they may have when entrusting their livelihood with a person they most likely aren’t too familiar with on a personal level. My approach is simple; show up with you and advocate for you. I don’t arrive to court to make friends. Most importantly, I will never look you in the face and ask you to plea to something that I myself wouldn’t consider doing; At CLR Law, it is very simple. I am here with YOU, to fight for YOU.
